Tim Leslie is an insightful architect with 25 years of hands-on experience across diverse project types including civic, multi-residential, health and commercial. Tim has worked internationally for renowned UK architects and with several of Melbourne’s most highly regarded large practices. The Office of the Victorian Government Architect benefits from his skill as adviser and advocate through his managing the Victorian Design Review Panel process on projects including:

  • medium and high-density housing
  • health
  • sports, leisure and tourism
  • commercial and civic.

Tim has become a respected design advocate through past work with the Australian Institute of Architects and by founding Open House Melbourne to an enthusiastic Victorian public. Design review processes continue this advocacy and his guidance to state delivery agencies, industry, local government and external stakeholders has influenced many projects including:

  • commercial concepts in sensitive urban and regional contexts
  • large scale social housing models for Homes Victoria
  • nationally significant research facilities.

Tim's qualifications include:

  • Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects
  • Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) (University of Melbourne).
